So it had been debated, decided and resolved.  We, part of the now incredibly small advisory team for the local authority and its schools, would actively support the bringing of actors into the primary schools of the region. 

And we would not just bring in any old actors, but actors of the highest calibre who had of late been in west end musicals.

In a village of three cottages and 14 coffee shops two local authority advisers discuss the introduction of touring theatre companies into primary schools, the sayings of Oscar Wilde and the nutritional value of cheesecake.

“Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast,” remarked Sheila.

“Ha!” I replied.  I generally find this sorts out most people – especially those who go in for quoting lines from plays before midday.
