Literacy Musical: Jungle Bungle
Book now for World Book Day 2018!
It was all just a crazy mistake! When Claire agreed to go with that new boy Oliver on a pretend expedition they were only meant to go into his garden, but somehow they ended up a lot further away from home than that. There they were in a jungle without supplies, a mobile or a map! And all they had to point the way was that crazy compass that seemed to have a magical mind of its own. Oh and did I mention that they were being followed?
Join Claire and Oliver on a musical safari adventure created to celebrate friendship, understanding and the important role that reading can have in our lives.
This wild and wacky show is written to inspire children to read, as our original characters interact with the ideas and characters from the best of children's literature. The musical features four popular books which you can explore and read with the children:
- Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
- How to Heal a Broken Wing by Bob Graham
- Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl
- KS1 book - to be confirmed!

Activity pack and songs the children can learn
Jungle Bungle is a catalyst for engaging children with stories and themes that they can enjoy both before and after the show itself. The children will love the show on its own, but our free activity pack and sing-a-long versions of the songs allow you to incorporate the books and stories into your lessons as well.
