Feedback from recent Story Explorer workshops in schools:

Stalyhill Infants
Children were excited and enthusiastic and participated eagerly in the workshop. They used wonderful adjectives to describe their feelings and events as a result of being stimulated.

The Abbey Primary
Both the teachers and the children enjoyed the workshops. The texts were well chosen and good links were made with literacy learning objectives. Some teachers were so inspired that they are continuing to work on the texts as a unit of work with their children. The literacy governor commented on how well the workshops were planned and delivered and how engrossed the children were. “The atmosphere made the hairs on my neck stand up” was her comment. Will definitely be booking again for next year!

Central Park Primary Newham
The children enjoyed the workshop very much, especially exploring the different feelings drawn out from the book and expressing these through gestures and sounds.

Palmers Green High School
The workshops were great and the workshop leader was particularly good at running them – she had a great rapport with the children but also managed to keep control well which is no mean feat!!
