Theatre in Education
Direct from the West End

West End in Schools is the only theatre in education company focussed on your teaching of literacy - and the only group of West End actors visiting primary schools with specially created work.

Our Olivier Award winning history, and our unique access to professional theatre makers, actors and dancers from the West End allows us to bring extraordinary performances and workshops to thousands of primary schools nationwide.

Storytelling and listening is at the heart of good theatre and our trained performers can help you engage your children with books and reading in an active way. Schools report stronger engagement with books and better writing after our visits.

Our team includes professional performers from Wicked  and Matilda , dancers from Chicago and Shrek  and actors from Shared Experience and The Donmar Warehouse amongst others.

We offer INSET days and drama workshops to the primary and secondary education sectors; visits to primary schools with musicals, pantomime, dance and storytelling; and Y6 transition summer schools.

This is an amazing way to explore literature: no writing, no talking but total engagement. Our children were captivated.

This performance was an excellent way of promoting reading amongst the children. Catchy songs and superb acting captured the children’s imagination! They are already asking if they’re coming again next year!
