"Everything that a good panto should have."

Cinderella came to our school yesterday and we all thought it was wonderful. The actors were brilliant and it was just the right tone for the children. There was interaction, lots of booing and 'look behind you'...everything that a good panto should have. We loved it.

"Our children universally gave the production a thumbs up"

Your team did a fantastic job - they worked hard, the pitch was entirely appropriate, and the interactivity was great. Our children universally gave the production a thumbs up, and it was an hour well spent. The adults amongst us really enjoyed the humour, corny jokes are THE best kind of jokes!

The children thoroughly enjoyed the show. Our school hall is very small, but the actors managed to set up for their performance effectively. The quality of singing and acting was very high.

"The performances are ideal for our pupils"

We have had West End in Schools for our panto 2 years running now and both years have been excellent. The performances are ideal for our pupils and the actors are very accommodating to our pupils whose needs mean that they don't just sit still and watch! The actors have always arrived on time and been very friendly. I can't fault it.

Deputy Head, Sheringham Woodfields School (complex-needs school) | Aladdin, Dec 2015

"The actors were fun and energetic, which made the show magical."

The actors were fun and energetic, which made the show magical. They both really engaged the audience especially by allowing the children to be participate in the performance. All our families stated from the evaluation that they thought the performance was exceptional and would like to have one at least twice a year.

"Having used West End in Schools before I knew that we would have a quality performance. I was not wrong!"

Having used West End in Schools before I knew that we would have a quality performance. I was not wrong! Today's show was engaging for all of our children and the staff (who were reenergised by the show at what is such a busy time in the primary school calendar). The actors were very professional and friendly and most noticeably from the minute they entered the school, picked up on the school's ethos and called children by their first name even after only meeting them briefly in a doorway! I congratulate the company for offering such a high quality service to schools. Thank you.

"Y6 used the performance as a stimulus for writing, which enabled them to make great progress and meet their targets."

The children thought the performance was "Stellar"!
Y6 used the performance as a stimulus for writing, which enabled them to make great progress and meet their targets. They enjoyed the humour and pace of the production and participated heartily. They enjoyed the slight changes in the script, such as the Furry Dogfather

Wessex Primary School

"They were all entranced... ...A perfect pantomime."

They were all entranced by the show. Watching faces told me that they were quickly and completely bound up in the story. They fully engaged with all the actions, singing and magic and there were no criers! Hurray.
No over the top acting..just lovable characters who related well to all ages.
A perfect pantomime. Right length, relevant rhymes for the intended age and the believable setting of many scenes. Jokes topical and good coverage of the many different panto emotions. Highly recommended.

FS Leader, Wessex Primary School | Cinderella, Dec 2014

Claverley C E Primary School
They thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were engaged from the beginning to the end. They were able to ask good questions at the end which the actors answered well. We were worried that the Yr 6 boys would not engage and they took a little time but then got into the experience.

Hardwick Primary School

Once again, West End in Schools delivered a five star pantomime to our pupils today. We look forward to their visit each year and every time it’s a treat. At a fraction of the price of a conventional theatre visit, the actors, who bring all their own costumes and props, give the children a truly engaging theatre experience. We see first class singing and acting, strong scripts and from booking to performance, the process is easy and stress free. Highly recommended!

The actors involved the children well. Staging, costumes, music was brilliant. Great versatility shown by performers. Would definitely recommend this company to any primary school. It worth paying that bit extra to get such professionalism. Already thinking of booking again next year.

Pitched at just the right level for the children. Good length, lovely songs and not too frightening! Story was accessible to the younger ones. We have had several of your productions now and they have all been well suited - so more of the same please!!

Aladdin was extremely well written, innovative, interactive, and the actors were fantastic…

All our children were enthralled from start to finish, and some of the teachers didn’t stop laughing. The flying magic carpet left the children in awe!

We are an inner city primary school with a diverse community, and I would heartily recommend this show to every primary school.

They were captivating, entertaining and made the show interactive. The company provided songs prior to the visit which had the children very excited as they were going to be part of the show. Our children were transfixed by the actors and spoke about the Panto for the rest of the day. We would highly recommend the company to others schools as our experience was such a positive one.

Our school caters to a variety of physical and learning needs and it is sometimes difficult to find shows that will cater to such a diverse group. West End in Schools always delivers and it is wonderful to see so many of our students captivated by the performance and joining in with the singing. Staff and students alike say how wonderful the performance is (and this is our third) so well done West End in Schools and thank you.
